401(k) Retirement Plan

Being ready for retirement is an important part of financial wellness. The key to success is to start saving now. The Quadient 401(k) Plan, administered by Fidelity, offers a variety of investment options to help you become retirement ready. In addition, Quadient generously matches employee 401(k) contributions to help your retirement savings grow.

Eligibility

Within the first 30 days from your date of hire, you are automatically enrolled in the Quadient 401(k) Plan at a 3% pre-tax contribution. After you receive your first paycheck, you may increase your contribution percentage or opt-out of the plan at 401k.com. You can make contribution changes and update your beneficiary information at any time; no need to wait for Open Enrollment to make changes.

Company Match

Quadient will match employee contributions $0.50 for each $1.00 you contribute per pay period, up to 8%. The funds you invest are always yours. Company contributions vest after two full years of service.

Traditional vs. Roth: Which Is Right for You?

The company allows you to select traditional and/or Roth 401(k) contributions. Understanding how each option works can help you make the most of your retirement savings strategy.

Traditional 401(k) Roth 401(k)
Best if: You want tax savings today. Best if: You want tax-free income later.
Contributions are made before taxes. Contributions are made after taxes.
Lowers your taxable income now; taxes are paid when money is withdrawn in retirement. Taxes are paid upfront, so qualified withdrawals are tax-free in retirement.
Can be a good fit if you’re in your highest earning years. Can be a good fit if you’re early in your career or expect your income to increase over time.
Recommended: Consider contributing to both Traditional and Roth accounts for a balanced retirement strategy.
