Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

When you enroll in the UHC Choice Plus HRA, Quadient contributes to an HRA which you can use to pay for medical and pharmacy expenses. Unlike other health care accounts, only Quadient can put money in an HRA. Each time you visit the doctor or receive medical or pharmacy services, you can use the funds in your HRA to pay for eligible expenses.

How the HRA Works

  • Quadient contributes FREE MONEY to your HRA (pro-rated for new hires) to help you pay the annual deductible. In 2025, the company will deposit up to $500 annually for single coverage and up to $1,200 annually for family coverage.
  • The money in your HRA can be used to pay for eligible medical and pharmacy expenses and counts toward your deductible.
  • After the money in your account is used up, you are responsible for all your medical and pharmacy expenses up to the annual deductible.
  • When you reach the annual deductible, you and the health plan share the costs (coinsurance) for covered services.
  • Starting in 2025, up to $2,000 (individual coverage) or $4,000 (family coverage) of unused funds roll over year-to-year when you enroll in the UHC Choice Plus HRA.
  • You have the option to contribute to a Health Care FSA to set aside your own pre-tax money in addition to the HRA funds you receive.
